Tracking & Tracing Executive
Job Summary:
The Tracking & Tracing Executive is responsible for monitoring shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring timely updates, coordinating with carriers and drivers, and maintaining accurate shipment records in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor shipments throughout transit.
- Coordinate with carriers and drivers for real-time status updates.
- Update shipment information in the TMS accurately.
- Identify and escalate delays or transit issues.
- Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Collect and verify Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and customers.
Requirements:
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and freight operations.
- Familiarity with TMS, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in logistics or freight brokerage is preferred.
