About the Role
Experienced TPF developer responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications in the TPF environment.
Responsibilities:
- Years of experience needed – 6- 8 year.
- Working experience and knowledge of TPFDF and IBM Toolkit/Dubugger.
- Comfortable in interfacing and engaging with customers, defining their requirements and effectively translating their needs to business and technical documents, maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Excellent analytical, technology, communication, decision making and problem solving skills.
- Experience leading/mentoring junior developers.
- Organized with an ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively.
- Must have the ability to transform business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
- 5 or more years of experience working in TPF Airline Reservations and/or TPF Airline Operations application development.
- Experience in developing and maintaining software for a z/TPF operating system.
- Must have minimum of 5 years of TPF application experience.
- Must have a good working knowledge of the structure of a PNR.
- Must understand and have experience with the Schedule Change process and its impact on PNRs.
- Must be familiar with the concept of a PNR and its use.
- Must be able to code proficiently in BAL, Sabretalk and C.
- Must have a good understanding of teletype processing.
- Must be able to understand and code using TPFDF database structures.
