Role Description The Tour Coordinator at Xperience by Strategy Steamers is a full-time, on-site role based in Puri. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating guided tours, including scheduling itineraries, arranging transportation and accommodations, and ensuring all logistics run smoothly. The Tour Coordinator communicates with clients and partners to understand tour requirements, provides clear pre-tour information, and supports guests throughout their experience. Day-to-day tasks include managing bookings, handling inquiries, resolving on-the-spot issues, collaborating with local vendors, and maintaining accurate records of tours and feedback. The role also involves promoting tour packages, supporting sales activities, and contributing ideas to improve guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in guided tours and tour coordination, with the ability to design and manage engaging itineraries.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a client-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
- Background in event management and logistical planning for group activities or corporate events.
- Sales skills, including the ability to present tour packages, handle inquiries, and support conversion of leads.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tours and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort working on-site in Puri, with flexibility to support tours during peak seasons and varying schedules.
- Proficiency with basic office software and booking systems; experience with travel or hospitality tools is an advantage.
- Relevant education in tourism, hospitality, event management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
