Role Description The Tour Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Tour Consultant will advise clients on travel options, suggest suitable itineraries, and prepare detailed tour proposals based on travelers’ preferences and budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inquiries, providing clear information about destinations, packages, and services, coordinating bookings with suppliers, and ensuring accurate documentation for reservations and payments. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, addressing questions and issues before and during tours, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver smooth, well-organized travel experiences. The Tour Consultant will also stay updated on travel trends, local and international regulations, and new offerings to continuously improve the quality of recommendations provided to clients.
Qualifications
- Strong Travel Consulting and Travel & Tourism knowledge, with the ability to design and explain itineraries and tour packages.
- Proficiency in Guided Tours, including understanding of tour logistics, schedules, and destination highlights.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to support clients professionally throughout the booking and travel process.
- Relevant experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with travel booking tools, basic ticketing processes, and standard office software.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, manage multiple client requests, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused mindset.
