About the Role
We are looking for a Founding QA Engineer (Manual) to join our core team and play a key role in building a high-quality product from the ground up. As the first QA hire, you’ll help define the testing strategy, establish quality benchmarks, and ensure that everything we ship meets the highest standards. This is a unique opportunity to shape the QA function in a fast-paced startup environment and work closely with the founding team.

Responsibilities

1. Own and execute the end-to-end manual testing process across web and mobile platforms
2. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
3. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
4. Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
5. Advocate for quality across the organization and help establish QA best practices
6. Participate in release planning and drive product stability in production

What We're Looking For

1. 2+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
2. Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering polished, bug-free products
3. Experience writing and executing test cases and reporting bugs effectively
4. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Bonus: Exposure to automation testing or willingness to grow into it
