Install, remove, repair, balance, rotate, and maintain tires on Kenworth and Freightliner tractors and related equipment.

Perform tire changes, puncture repairs, wheel balancing, and assist with alignments to ensure safe vehicle operation.

Conduct routine tire inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential safety concerns and recommend corrective actions.

Provide roadside tire service and emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime.

Operate tire machines, balancers, air tools, jacks, and other specialized tire service equipment safely and effectively.

Manage and track tire inventory, including receiving, staging, and documenting tire usage.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation related to tire work performed.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in both the shop and service truck.

Communicate clearly with drivers, dispatch, and leadership regarding tire conditions, service needs, and repair timelines.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in tire service or mechanics preferred.

Proven experience as a Tire Technician, preferably working with heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.

Familiarity with Kenworth and Freightliner equipment strongly preferred.

Knowledge of tire safety standards, proper mounting and balancing techniques, and tire inspection procedures.

Experience with roadside service and working in outdoor environments.

Ability to safely operate tire service equipment and tools.

Must provide own tools and maintain a professional appearance per company policy.

Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, kneel, crouch, and work in varying weather conditions.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
