UI Developer Intern

Spring 2025 Internship: This position is located at our HQ in Durham, NC. Expected program dates are January 21 – April 25, 2025. Introduction: The UI Developer Intern will work with the UX team to help design interfaces for point-of-sale software. Their primary role will be to develop web applications related necessary for the UX team. They will also help to create and maintain a design system for the UX team. They will be expected to participate in group critiques of the team’s work and help ideate new solutions. They will also learn UX methodologies and best practices. Required Skills: Currently pursuing Undergraduate or Postgraduate studies Excellent analytical skills Ability to work in a fast paced, team-based environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Programming and analytical skills, problem determination, debugging, and attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication; able to read, write, and speak English proficiently Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Figma and visual design Participation in agile SDLC; usage of agile project management tools Ability to use code versioning tools like Git, SVN, etc. Front end development experience Modern web development experience, including application of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and various JS frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.JS.
