About the role

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized accounting specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately recording and maintaining financial and livestock operations data, including feed usage, animal movements, mortality, revenue, and other key production metrics. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of both operational and financial records, supporting informed business decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Livestock & Operational Data Management

· Enter and maintain detailed livestock data, including feed consumption, animal movements, and mortality records

· Monitor and update records across spreadsheets and internal systems

· Ensure accuracy and consistency across all data entries and reports

· Identify discrepancies and resolve data issues promptly

· Collaborate with farm personnel to gather and verify operational information

· Generate reports to support operational and management decision-making

 

Qualifications:

 

· Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

· Experience with integrated accounting systems preferred (Microsoft Business Central a plus)

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

· Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required

· Experience in agriculture, livestock operations, or data management is a plus, but not required

This position requires close coordination with multiple team members and departments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing large volumes of detailed information while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
