Our internship program is designed to expose students and new grads to key aspects of the retail industry. You'll be provided training, support and receive hands-on experience with challenging tasks that will provide you with meaningful, real-world experience to help build your resume and enter a career in retail.
Planning and Allocation Intern
In this role, you will gain experience executing the day-to-day tasks necessary to assist the Planning and Allocation team. You'll have the opportunity to develop a broad, general understanding of the P&A functions, responsibilities, and cross-functional partnerships needed in order to provide support across multiple categories.
What You'll Do:
Assist in managing the Company Commercial Calendar
Build pricing models that are tied to promo events and topline margin goals
Weekly business recap at both product category and product delivery level.
Learn how to build effective financially based sitewide promotions in conjunction with the Pricing team.
Provide weekly style /category promo recommendations based on analysis
Learn the importance of Omni Channel Retailing – and how multiple systems are used to better fulfill customer demand orders
What You'll Need:
Open to college junior/senior level students and recent graduates
Proficient in Excel and the MS office suite
Passion for problem solving, analytics, and process improvement
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Must be available to work Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) for duration of internship program. Internship dates: June 2 – August 8
