Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Tools Design Engineer to join our team on-site in Coimbatore. The role involves designing complex tooling components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, and creating CAD models for manufacturing. The Tools Design Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of tooling used in injection molding processes, troubleshooting design challenges, and optimizing designs for manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tooling Design and Injection Molding processes
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Product Design software
- Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and precision
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, or a related discipline
- Experience in a manufacturing or plastics industry environment is preferred
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work within deadlines
