Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Nashik Area for a Toolmaker. The Toolmaker will be responsible for manufacturing, and maintaining press tools that are critical in the production of electrical components. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, assembling precision tools, troubleshooting manufacturing tools, and ensuring machinery is running efficiently. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining tools such as lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair precision tools and equipment
- Knowledge of materials commonly used in manufacturing tools, such as metals and alloys
- Knowledge of 5s
- Understanding of safety protocols and quality control processes
- Previous experience or qualifications in manufacturing or toolmaking; vocational training or certifications are a plus
