Role Overview We're seeking a Full Stack TypeScript Engineer to join our early-stage, backend-heavy team. In this full-time, remote role, you'll work side-by-side with our CTO, taking complete ownership of key features, from ideation and development to release and iteration. If you're a scrappy, founder-minded engineer who can ship features daily and engage directly with users, you might be a perfect fit. Key Responsibilities Product Ownership: Take complete responsibility for your features, from concept to release and ongoing improvement. Founder Mindset: Act as a mini-CEO for your projects, aligning priorities and timelines with the team. User Engagement: Interact directly with our users on Slack to provide support and gather feedback. Daily Feature Delivery: In our fast-paced, scrappy environment, contribute actively to shipping new features. Backend Focus: Develop robust backend functionality using Node.js on AWS, ensuring high performance and scalability. Qualifications Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript coding, or 1 year working on a SaaS product. Technical Expertise: Solid experience in Vanilla JavaScript/TypeScript, React (frontend), and Node.js (backend). Frameworks & Tools: Familiarity with Next.js, Knex, Tailwind, and building complex backend features. Database & AWS: Proficient with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and AWS services (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, S3, etc.). Mindset: A proactive, founder-like attitude with strong communication skills, ready to contribute to support efforts and iterate based on user feedback.
