About the role

Role Overview

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics execution. This role ensures smooth material movement, high inventory accuracy, and strict adherence to SOPs while optimizing cost, timelines, and operational efficiency across all logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, storage, and dispatch activities
  • Maintain accurate and real-time inventory records as per defined SOPs
  • Plan, schedule, and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and error-free delivery
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage warehouse staff while ensuring adherence to operational and safety standards
  • Ensure timely dispatch of materials to customer or project sites as per defined SLAs
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement optimal logistics routes, transport partners, and shipment methods
  • Coordinate with transporters and negotiate rates, service terms, and turnaround timelines
  • Maintain documentation including shipment records, GRNs, dispatch logs, incident reports, and safety compliance documents
  • Ensure warehouse safety standards, cleanliness, and operational discipline are consistently maintained
  • Work closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to support business requirements

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics workflows
  • Hands-on experience working in SOP-driven and process-oriented environments
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and teams simultaneously
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Good problem-solving, coordination, and execution capabilities
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Experience handling third-party logistics (3PL) partners is preferred
  • Exposure to fast-paced, scaling operations or startup environments is a plus
