Job Overview
Toast is seeking self-driven people that enjoy creating amazing software and want to have fun doing it. We put a lot of effort into creating a well-designed user experience for our clients by working with web front ends, iOS, and Android. We use Docker containers to execute Java microservices on Amazon Web Services, which powers our infrastructure. To ensure that their point-of-sale system "just works" despite being a complicated distributed system, our customers depend on us to maintain this infrastructure quick and reliable.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work with a small group of three to six engineers who are in charge of whole Toast product modules.
Create and manage scalable, adaptable, and high-performing web and mobile apps.
Engage in database, middle-tier, and front-end code design, estimation, implementation, testing, debugging, configuration, integration, and documentation.
Identify performance issues and make necessary adjustments. Consider the end user when creating your designs.
Participate actively in conversations about feature selection and product design.
Take part in code reviews to make sure functional requirements are met by technical implementations.
Qualification & Skills
Currently studying for a B.Tech degree in mathematics, computer science engineering, or a similar discipline.
Skilled in programming languages with development expertise, such as Python or Java.
Exposure to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the fundamentals of the web front end
Familiarity with databases and layered web application design
You should be able to solve problems well.
You should have outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
