About the role
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on guest rooms and common areas
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general facility issues
- Complete work orders and document repairs accurately
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of maintenance supplies
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and property procedures
- Support property cleanliness and appearance standards
What We’re Looking For
- Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable attendance and flexible schedule availability
- Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with guests and teammates
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
