Supporting Actions
Procurement Planning & Execution
- Prepare RFQs for electrical equipment and should be well versed with HT/LT Panels, DG sets, Electrical Services, Transformer, VFDs, UPS, Cables, Lifts etc.
- Prepare RFQs for imported equipment and should be well versed with Factory automation and warehouse management related packages like cranes, STVs, Packing machine, ASRS etc.
- Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and project teams to finalize scope, specifications, and delivery terms.
- Conduct techno-commercial evaluations (R0, R1) and assist in final negotiations (R2).
- Ensure competitive bidding with at least three qualified vendors per package.
Import & Compliance Management
- Coordinate with logistics and legal teams to ensure compliance with import regulations, duties, and documentation.
- Manage INCOTERMS, customs clearance requirements, and international shipping arrangements.
- Track and mitigate risks related to foreign exchange, lead times, and import duties.
Vendor & Market Engagement
- Identify and engage with global and domestic vendors for electrical systems and imported machinery.
- Maintain vendor databases and support vendor evaluation and onboarding.
- Facilitate vendor interactions for bid clarifications, negotiations, and performance reviews.
Contracting & Documentation
- Assist in drafting and finalizing POs, LOAs, and contracts with vendors.
- Ensure closure of commercial terms, risk clauses, and compliance requirements.
- Support documentation for PG/LD closures, claims, and dispute resolution.
Post-Order Management
- Monitor delivery schedules, customs clearance, quality inspections, and payment milestones.
- Coordinate with project sites for installation readiness and issue resolution.
- Track contract performance Non-Tender item finalization, EOT resoulution and support management reviews.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Adhere to procurement SOPs, DOA approvals, and audit requirements.
- Support ERP (SAP/MM) data accuracy and digitization initiatives.
- Contribute to procurement MIS, dashboards, and reporting.
