Role Overview

The Manager – Flight Data Analysis will lead advanced analytical work supporting Airbus and Boeing fleets. This role involves interpreting complex flight data trends, supporting safety investigations, and improving operational performance under guidance of the Chief Manager. Collaboration with Engineering and Flight Operations ensures compliance with regulatory standards and strengthens the airline's proactive safety culture.

Minimum Educational Qualification

• CPL / ATPL / AME Diploma / Graduate (Engineering or related discipline preferred)
  
  

Experience

• 10–15 years of experience in Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), FOQA, or related field
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Identify systemic risks and safety trends.
• Provide detailed flight data insights to support investigations.
• Develop flight data models, exceedance detection logic, and dashboards.
• Mentor analysts and standardize reporting methodologies.
• Present findings to the Chief Manager.
• Collaborate with operational teams to evaluate procedural changes.
• Advance predictive analytics and big data initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with DGCA-India, EASA, ICAO, and internal SMS standards
  
  

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced proficiency in FOQA/FDM software, including Airbus FDA, Analysis Ground Station, Cassiope, Flightscape/Insight, AirFASE, or equivalent
• Skilled in Python, SQL, Power BI, MATLAB, R, and MS Office
• Knowledgeable in Annex 13 investigations and human factors analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communicator with proven stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated project management and leadership experience
• Expertise in coaching, mentoring, and driving continuous improvement
