Power BI Engineer

Since 2009, Titan's flagship product, the Titan Dealer Management System (Titan DMS), has been adopted by Franchised Automotive Dealerships covering over 45 different Automotive Brands throughout Australia, Asia, Pacific Region, Middle East, UK, Africa and Europe, and continues to extend its global reach and reputation as a leading international software provider. We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, report development, and setting up robust reporting environments. You will play a key role in transforming data from multiple sources into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake will be considered a significant advantage. You are expected to work directly with onsite offices and poses excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English to liaise with stakeholders. What you'll do · Design and Develop Power BI Reports and Dashboards: Create interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. · Data Consolidation: Set up reporting environments by consolidating data from various sources into centralized data lakes, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy. · Data Modeling: Develop and optimize data models within Power BI to support efficient querying and data retrieval. · Integration with Data Warehouses: Work with cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake to integrate, retrieve, and manage data effectively. · Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. · Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, including improving load times and reducing resource consumption. · Maintain and Troubleshoot Reports: Monitor and maintain existing reports, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed. · Documentation: Document processes, models, and dashboards to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge transfer. What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field - 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role. - Proficient in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. - Experience in setting up and managing data lakes and consolidating data from multiple sources. - Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake is a plus. - Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases. - Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities. - Excellent English language skills (written and verbal communication) Additional attribute (Preferred not required): - Working experience in ERP type systems, Accounting or Retail POS systems etc. - Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
