Experience: 1–2 years of experience in STEM education, tinkering labs, or similar training roles in the education or development sector. Travel: Travel to schools/community locations where Tinkering sessions are conducted. Type of Employment: Full-timeJob Description:Plan and deliver engaging sessions for students, focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education.Train students in the use of equipment such as 3D printers, robotics kits, sensors, microcontrollers, etc.Develop innovative project-based learning modules in line with DBM Inida Tinkering Lab objectives.Support students in conceptualizing and executing projects for innovation contests, exhibitions, or school events.Maintain inventory and upkeep of Lab tools, equipment, and materials.Assist in setting up DBM Inida Tinkering Lab labs in new locations and ensure smooth functioning.Provide orientation and training to school staff and fellow trainers on Tinkering Lab functioning.Monitor and track student participation and learning outcomes from Tinkering Lab sessions.Maintain records of training sessions, student projects, and feedback for periodic reporting.Collaborate with school faculty and DBM staff for coordinated program delivery.Participate in workshops, review meetings, and training sessions as directed.Document best practices and success stories for internal and external communications.Competencies and Skills:Strong technical knowledge in electronics, robotics, or STEM-related domainsPassion for teaching and mentoring students in a hands-on learning environmentExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to troubleshoot and maintain Tinkering Lab equipmentRecord-keeping and report writing skillsTeam player with strong coordination abilitiesReporting:Captures all relevant data on a timely basis including attendance records of students. Track every student's progress during the period of the course and keep a record of the same.Key Result Areas:Facilitate at least 2 student innovation projects per month per DBM Inida Tinkering Lab center.Ensure minimum 80% of students enrolled are actively involved in hands-on project work.Mentor students to submit at least one project per quarter for exhibitions, competitions, or internal showcases.Maintain 100% updated inventory logs of tools, materials, and consumables.Submit monthly reports covering session details, attendance, project updates, and challenges.Maintain digital and physical records of student projects with photos/videos and progress reportsTimely completion of course content/ Sessions planned as per programsMaintaining 80 percent or more attendance among students Click on Apply to know more.
