As the Senior Director Marketing for DACH, you will define and execute the marketing strategy for one of Tinder’s key regions. Reporting directly to the VP of EMEA Marketing , you’ll lead a small but growing team, manage local agencies, paid media budget, and collaborate with the marketing team across Media, Partnerships, Social, and all cross-functional partners in the region and globally.

You’ll own the brand narrative for DACH, ensuring alignment with Tinder’s global vision while tailoring initiatives to resonate with local audiences. This role demands creativity, cultural fluency, and a strategic mindset to position Tinder as the go-to brand for young people across the region.

You’ll need:Experience:Several years of experience in managing marketing projects and budgets with at least 5 years of country leadership in marketing, preferably with direct-to-consumer brands in the dating industry, fashion, streaming, or consumer goodsComfort building and executing tailor-made strategies that span creative marketing, business growth, media and product developmentProven ability to manage and grow brand strategy within the pop culture and youth marketing spaceExperience working in a matrixed organization and leading cross-functional teamsCultural Fluency:Deep understanding of youth culture and the unique cultural nuances of the DACH regionNative German speaker; fluency in English is essentialLeadership Skills:Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and lead high-performing teamsStrong interpersonal communication skills with experience in managing virtual and cross-functional teamsProven experience in top talent and influencers managementStrong mix of conceptual and analytical capabilities in combination with a hands-on and agile mentality to get things doneExecution & Agility:Proven track record of managing multiple, complex tasks simultaneously and prioritizing adequately to maximize business impact in a fast-paced environmentA creative problem-solver with a hands-on, proactive approach to driving resultsAdditional Attributes:Strong executive presence with a robust network in technology, entertainment, or mediaExperience developing and executing custom strategies across marketing, business growth, and mediaPrevious success in driving marketing for digital services, especially membership models or subscription businessesBackground in entertainment or live experiences at scale is a strong plus
