TikTok Shop Live Host – Fine Jewelry
Location: New York City – 551 Fifth Avenue
Schedule: 3 days per week
Live Duration: 2.5–3 hours per session

About the Role
Friendly Diamonds is looking for a confident, polished, and highly engaging TikTok Shop Live Host to host live shopping sessions from our New York showroom on Fifth Avenue.
You’ll be the face of Friendly Diamonds during our TikTok Lives—showcasing fine jewelry, interacting with viewers in real time, answering questions, demonstrating products, and ultimately turning viewers into customers.
We’re looking for someone who can make a 3-hour Live feel energetic, conversational, informative, and entertaining—not like a scripted sales pitch.
What You’ll Do
- Host TikTok Shop Lives 3 times per week from our NYC showroom.
- Each Live will run approximately 2.5–3 hours.
- Showcase and try on engagement rings, diamond jewelry, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and other fine jewelry.
- Demonstrate products up close and help viewers understand how pieces look, feel, sparkle, and wear in real life.
- Engage continuously with the audience by answering comments and questions and acknowledging viewers.
- Create urgency around limited-time TikTok Shop promotions and featured products without making the Live feel overly sales-driven.
- Work closely with our marketing and jewelry teams to plan products, offers, talking points, and themes for each Live.
- Review performance and continuously improve based on engagement, watch time, clicks, and conversions.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re naturally comfortable on camera and can speak confidently for extended periods without losing energy.
You should have a sophisticated but fun personality that fits a fine-jewelry brand. Our ideal host feels polished and aspirational while still being approachable, warm, and conversational.
Experience with TikTok Live, TikTok Shop, livestream shopping, social media hosting, luxury retail, fashion, beauty, jewelry, or on-camera content creation is strongly preferred.
You should also be:
- Extremely comfortable improvising and thinking on your feet.
- Naturally persuasive without sounding like a salesperson.
- Good at storytelling and explaining products.
- Quick at responding to live comments and audience questions.
- Comfortable trying on and demonstrating jewelry on camera.
- Reliable and available to work in person at our Fifth Avenue showroom 3 times per week.
- Interested in learning the finer details of diamonds and jewelry.
