Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and driven Fullstack Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Mumbai. In this role, you will work across the entire product stack from crafting pixel-perfect web interfaces to building robust backend APIs and also contribute to our mobile-first initiatives using Flutter. You will be embedded in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where your code directly powers financial decisions for millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python (FastAPI / Django) on the backend and React.js on the frontend.
- Build and ship cross-platform mobile features using Flutter, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience on both iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and intuitive user experiences.
- Architect and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices that power wealth management features and investment intelligence tools.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning to maintain engineering standards and continuous delivery practices.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, and security across all layers of the stack.
- Drive end-to-end ownership of features from scoping to production deployment and monitoring.
- Contribute to technical documentation, onboarding guides, and internal knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in fullstack engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python including backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Solid hands-on experience with React.js hooks, state management (Redux / Zustand), component libraries, and performance optimization.
- Practical experience with Flutter for building cross-platform mobile applications.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, RESTful architecture, and system design fundamentals.
Good To Have
- Prior experience in fintech, wealth management, or financial services domain.
- Exposure to GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time data streaming technologies.
- Familiarity with AI/ML integrations or working alongside Data Science teams.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published mobile apps on App Store / Play Store.
