About the role

Position Overview

The Global Events Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of the global events initiatives. This dynamic role encompasses tasks related to the organization, execution and collaboration of various projects as it relates to exhibitions and high jewelry special events for the Tiffany & Co. brand. This internship is an exciting opportunity for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in events and project management within the luxury brand sector.

Location: This position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY.  

Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Project Support
    • Assist in the development of project plans and timelines, ensuring clear communication of deliverables within the team.
    • Support the planning of brand exhibitions, product launches, and boutique openings, contributing ideas that align with Tiffany’s objectives.
  • Event logistics
    • Aid in managing various event components, including entertainment, activations, and deliveries.
    • Collaborate with vendors and agencies to ensure they adhere to Tiffany’s brand standards and project guidelines.
  • Vendor Relations
    • Participate in sourcing and securing project resources, while learning about budget management and negotiation.
  • Research and Innovation
    • Stay updated on current design trends, technology, and cultural developments that could enhance event planning and execution.
  • Support Global Events Team Members in Various Tasks 
    • Create visually compelling presentations for events, including but not limited to venue and hotel presentations, event recaps, events calendar, competitor reports, etc.
    • Edit presentations to ensure alignment with company branding staying in line with TCO standards
    • Oversee Tracking Logs including Shipping, Hotel, Transportation Trackers, and Global Events Calendar
    • Onsite support at events 
    • Administrative support as needed

Required Qualifications: 

  • Enrolled College student or 2025 graduate
  • Passion for retail industry 
  • 2+ years of business experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and core planning apps
  • Experience building reports in PowerBI
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate productively and ability to lead in a team environment
  • Strong decision-making skills with demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Operational excellence
  • Self-motivation with a strong drive for achievement
  • Agility and comfort in working in a highly dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an MBA program with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Retail Management or related fields.
  • Understanding of AI capabilities and Supply Chain application
  • Knowledge of Anaplan System
