Job Summary

The Call Center is part of a bigger team of people who are the frontline role in providing customers with exceptional experiences. The job encompasses customer service, sales, accounting (accounts receivable) and daily interaction with the Operations Team. The daily work environment is fast paced with constantly changing opportunities where full product and process knowledge are required. Independent commitment to excellence will produce the best performance. The position also requires industry knowledge, product awareness, and an ability to sell value.


Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) will include, but are not limited to:

  • Product knowledge and pricing. Be able to offer all available products to the customer or caller so they can make an informed decision about their rental and service selection.
  • Operational knowledge. Have a complete understanding of order fulfillment, so that all critical items are covered and incorporated into each customer order.
  • Complete understanding of the entire customer service process including order entry, complaint handling, inventory availability, service issues, and accounts receivable.
  • Handle customer management through email and extensive phone communication.
  • Technology knowledge. Be able to work with all software the company uses to manage and maintain customers.
  • Create proposals including cost estimates using basic spreadsheets.
  • Be ready and able to answer any inbound telephone call, including redirecting to the appropriate department if not Sales/Customer Service.
  • Educate customers on operational standards that enable 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting with collections to ensure customer accounts are paid promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned, including administrative duties.

Normal Business Hours: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years’ experience in call center, customer service, and/or reception position
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office and Gmail.
  • Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
