<strong>About the Position:</strong><br>Tide to Table on 78th St, OCMD is a scratch kitchen, seafood-focused restaurant sourcing local ingredients. We seek a skilled line cook with experience on sauté, fryer, and cold side stations. You must bring your own knives, have a strong understanding of a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen, and be eager to learn. We craft everything from scratch, focusing on local seafood. </div><ul>
<li>Work one or multiple stations including:<ul>
<li>Sauté</li>
<li>Fry</li>
<li>Cold side / garde manger</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Execute dishes consistently during high-volume lunch, brunch, and dinner service</li>
<li>Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked stations throughout service</li>
<li>Follow recipes, prep lists, and plating standards precisely</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow cooks during service</li>
<li>Assist with prep and breakdown daily</li>
<li>Work with fresh seafood, sauces, soups, dressings, and scratch-made components</li>
<li>Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards at all times</li>
<li>Handle pressure professionally while maintaining quality and urgency</li>
</ul><div>Requirements:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Minimum 2–3 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of sauté, fryer, and cold side stations</li>
<li>Must understand proper cooking temperatures, seasoning, and timing</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure</li>
<li>Positive attitude and strong work ethic</li>
<li>Dependable transportation and reliable attendance</li>
<li>Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays during season</li>
<li>Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs</li>
</ul><div>Important Qualifications:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li><strong>Must have your own professional knives and tools</strong></li>
<li><strong>Must be willing to learn and work within a fully scratch-made kitchen</strong></li>
<li>Experience with seafood is strongly preferred</li>
