Data Scientist

Thrive Market is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and deploying machine learning models to drive key business decisions and help shape the strategic direction of the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover insights, build data products, and influence critical business initiatives. Responsibilities: - Build and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions - Develop and maintain data pipelines to support the deployment of models in production - Communicate insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear, compelling manner - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning Requirements: - 3+ years of experience as a data scientist or similar role - Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) - Experience with data manipulation, feature engineering, and model evaluation - Ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract meaningful insights - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics)
