This role executes reliability engineering, operational readiness, ongoing change planning and implementation, incident detection and resolution, and compliance for a portfolio of applications and infrastructure built on a variety of technologies. About the Role: In this opportunity as a Site Reliability Engineer, you will: Deliver reliable 24x7 application operations and support. Proactively maintain, monitor, and support production and pre-production application environments and infrastructure. Develop software using disciplined software development methodology and modern CI/CD capabilities. Partner with application development teams to plan and deliver operational readiness for new products and features. Collaborate with stakeholders such as business teams, product owners, and project management in defining roadmap for applications and processes. Partner with security, platform, and service governance teams to deliver compliance with internal and external standards, expectations, and certifications. Develop, configure, and support tools for system monitoring and/or troubleshooting. Troubleshoot and solution issues with applications and infrastructure; engage others, escalate as required. Effectively articulate complex problems, concepts, and solutions to varied audiences. On a rotating schedule, be available for on-call issue intake and/or resolution. About You: You're a fit for the role of Site Reliability Engineer if you have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required. You program in at least one language such as: Python, Java, C#, Javascript, or Ruby. You configure and administrate systems using either Windows or Linux. You apply an evidence-based approach to solving problems in real-time to provide the fastest path to recovery. Understand the basics of software development and cloud operations. You are familiar with agile/lean development frameworks like Scrum. You understand the core concepts of databases. You understand the core concepts APIs. You have the experience or knowledge with Version Control and CI/CD (Git/ Azure DevOps / JFrog Artifactory) Experience or knowledge writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform / CloudFormation / other) Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly. Excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and motivated by complex technical and business challenges. Previous usage of, or interested in learning, AI code development tools.
