The Parts and Service Intern is a hands-on position responsible for assisting the parts and service department in fulfilling orders, solving problems, and providing innovative solutions. The candidate must be able to successfully work both independently and on a team. The candidate must be able to fulfill orders for internal and external customers. The Parts and Service Intern will demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner.
Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
- Pull proper parts from inventory in correct quantities
- Accurately process and complete parts orders without supervision
- Respond appropriately to customer demands
- Deliver parts and packages to designated areas in a timely manner
- Schedule pickup and delivery of merchandise by common carriers
- Other duties assigned by Management as needed
Qualifications
Education
- Presently attending College Degree Program
Experience
- Candidates for this position must possess strong mechanical aptitude.
- No formal work experience is required for this position, however individuals with prior related experience will be given stronger consideration.
- Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required.
- Candidates must possess the ability to quickly acquire the following required Skills and Competencies:
