Job Summary:
The Account Installation Specialist is responsible for installing and setting up new customer accounts and ensuring all installations are completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with company standards. This role serves as the first in-person point of contact for many new customers and helps deliver a professional and positive new account experience.
This position partners closely with sales and operations to support new account setup, complete field installations, and identify customer needs or additional opportunities in the field. This is a hands-on, field-based role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, organization, communication, and consistent execution across the assigned territory.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Install and set up new customer accounts, including first aid cabinets, eyewash stations, AEDs, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other safetyequipment.
- Serve as the first in-person point of contact for new customers, delivering a professional experience that builds trust and supports long-termpartnerships.
- Identifysafety gaps and customer needs during installations and communicate opportunities foradditionalproducts orservices.
- Proficiencywith mobile tools, applications, or basic systems used for documentation andtracking.
- Demonstrated accountability for quality of work and customerexperience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in safety services, facilities services, or industrial installation.
- Prior experiencein route sales, field sales, or customer-facing service roles withaccount growthorupselling responsibilities.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations or workplace safety equipment.
- Prior experience working in commercial or industrialenvironments.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use a computer, phone, and mobile applications in thefield.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in the field for extended periods, including up to 8 hours asneeded.
- Ability to lift,pushand install equipment up to 50pounds.
- Ability to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoorsettings.
- Ability to use power tools and installation equipment safely andeffectively.
- Ability to drivea stocked vanthroughout assigned territorydaily.
