BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE: 

Responsible for the management of projects and work crews. May have one or several foreman/leadmen that report to you and are responsible for all employees on site.   

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Interpret customer/client needs and oversee site to fulfill the requirements.  
  • Create efficient working environment and keep costs low. 
  • Communicate company and client polices and safety requirements with crew.  
  • Monitor employee compliance of policies and requirements. 
  • Perform employee counseling and guidance as needed. 
  • Schedule and coordinate work flow to keep project on time and on budget. 
  • Supervise all other company foremen/leadmen on job site. 
  • Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. 
  • Report directly to overall Project Manager. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Completed Construction, Maintenance or Engineering course at a technical school or college and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the field. 
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor/co-workers and understand direction from supervisor.  
  • Must be able to utilize higher math, use a calculator and computer skills in Microsoft Office are required. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand and reach repetitively, operate moving equipment, and work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments.  
  • Must be able to work at heights of up to 200 feet. 
  • Candidate may be required to pass Criminal background based on job location/requirements.
