As a
Fraud Review Specialist, you will play a crucial role in protecting the TheoremReach platform from fraudulent behavior, including bot activity, multi-accounting, fake referrals, and abuse of rewards. You’ll analyze user activity, investigate suspicious transactions, and implement fraud-prevention strategies to maintain platform integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor user activity and transactions to identify suspicious behavior related to fraudulent earnings and abuse of reward programs.
- Conduct in-depth investigations using internal fraud detection tools and data analytics.
- Review flagged accounts and transactions, making informed decisions on actions such as suspensions, reversals, and bans.
- Collaborate with customer support to resolve fraud-related disputes and inquiries.
- Develop and refine fraud prevention policies, automation rules, and detection strategies.
- Stay up to date with emerging fraud tactics and trends in the survey and reward-based industries.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving fraud detection systems and enhancing user verification processes.
Ideal Profile
- Experience: 1-3 years in fraud analysis, risk management, or trust & safety, preferably within rewards, survey, cashback, or GPT (Get-Paid-To) platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to detect patterns, anomalies, and fraudulent behaviors using data-driven insights.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to reviewing accounts and transactions to minimize false positives.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience working with fraud detection tools, SQL, Excel, or data analysis platforms is a plus.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and make fair, unbiased decisions when handling fraud cases.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adjust to new fraud tactics and platform updates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the market research, rewards, loyalty, or affiliate marketing space.
- Familiarity with common fraud techniques such as bot usage, VPN abuse, and synthetic identities.
