About the role

Role Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial professional to support and drive end-to-end sales and outreach efforts at Thence. In this role, you’ll work directly with the Chief Business Officer (CBO) to identify high-potential opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and build strong relationships with prospective clients and industry leaders. From handling RFPs and running community initiatives to supporting strategic outreach and managing internal business metrics, you’ll play a key role in accelerating our growth and brand presence. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to shape the future of a growing innovation firm.



Job Description:

  • Drive and support sales activities end-to-end — from qualifying leads and crafting tailored proposals to negotiation, closure, and onboarding
  • .Build and maintain a pipeline of high-potential leads by researching sectors, companies, and key decision-makers
  • .Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, research, tech) to shape compelling pitches and project narratives tailored to client challenges
  • .Coordinate responses to RFPs and ensure submissions reflect Thence’s strengths and differentiators
  • .Plan and execute outreach strategies — both traditional and unconventional — to initiate high-quality conversations with prospects
  • .Assist in organizing and scaling the CBO’s networking efforts by managing calendars, preparing briefing notes, and identifying high-value individuals to engage
  • .Strategize and run community engagement initiatives including events, forums, and thought-leadership content that attract industry leaders
  • .Own internal tracking of business metrics, weekly dashboards, and monthly performance reports for sales and outreach efforts
  • .Shadow the CBO in key conversations and progressively build the ability to represent him in internal and external meetings when needed

Job Requirement

  • s:4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing — preferably in a startup or entrepreneurial setu
  • p.Proven ability to think strategically and execute tactically — a self-starter who can wear many hat
  • s.Comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate a constantly evolving business landscap
  • e.Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • s.Strong networking skills and a high degree of professionalism when interfacing with senior leader
  • s.Willingness to go beyond conventional methods to achieve result
  • s.Bangalore-based or willing to relocate; able to work from the office 3 days a wee
