About the role

Position Summary

The Web Content & Digital Merchandising Lead is responsible for overseeing website content strategy, execution, and digital merchandising to drive conversion, engagement, and revenue growth. This role combines creative storytelling with data-driven merchandising to ensure the site delivers a compelling, on-brand, and optimized shopping experience.


Key Responsibilities

Web Content Strategy & Execution

  • Own and manage all website content including homepage, landing pages, product descriptions, and campaign pages
  • Develop and execute content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and product launches
  • Ensure brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across all digital touchpoints
  • Partner with creative, marketing, and product teams to produce engaging content

Digital Merchandising

  • Manage site merchandising including product placement, categorization, and collection curation
  • Optimize product sorting, filters, and on-site search to improve user experience and conversion
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
  • Launch and maintain promotional campaigns, pricing updates, and featured assortments

Performance & Optimization

  • Analyze site metrics (conversion rate, AOV, bounce rate, engagement) to inform decisions
  • Conduct A/B testing on content, layouts, and merchandising strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and checkout funnel
  • Leverage data insights to continuously refine site performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer experience teams to align priorities
  • Coordinate with developers or platform partners for site updates and enhancements
  • Support email, paid media, and social campaigns with aligned site content

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or web content management
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and customer journey optimization
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience with CMS tools and basic HTML/CSS is a plus
