Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, inventory management, stock put-away, and shipment preparation. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and process orders for direct-to-consumer, wholesale distributors, and stock transfers
- Follow established order fulfillment and scanning procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and accountability
- Prepare shipments by palletizing, shrink wrapping, and banding products as needed
- Operate warehouse equipment including stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, order selectors, and pallet jacks
- Communicate product, inventory, or order-related issues to warehouse leadership in a timely manner
- Assist in achieving departmental KPI and productivity goals related to order fulfillment and warehouse operations
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by practicing CAYGO (“Clean As You Go”) standards
- Support additional warehouse functions and projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent warehouse experience
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and warehouse-related systems/applications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time
Working Conditions
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, warehouse equipment, and moving machinery
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
- Use of handheld scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment required
