Our customers include Fortune 500 leaders such as Shell, CSX, UK Police, Airbus, Anglo American, Dole, and Statnett. FlytBase has its presence in 70+ countries with offices in the US and Pune, India. FlytBase is building the nervous system for large industrial sites.
We operate at AI speed - autonomy and intelligence at our core. Our lean team thrives in a high-agency, high-velocity environment where AI is not a side project; it is the operating system for how we think, build, and grow.
THE ROLE
As Product Marketing Intern at FlytBase, you'll bridge what we build with how the world discovers it. You'll contribute to positioning and messaging across industries - turning drone autonomy tech into stories that excite enterprise buyers in energy, security, and beyond.
You'll create sales tools that get pulled into real deals, shape customer proof points, and support launches that drive awareness. This role sits at the exciting intersection of product, sales, and global markets.
You'll collaborate directly with teams, test bold campaign ideas, and see them ship fast - no silos, just impact. You'll learn to distill technical specs into buyer language, building skills through hands-on execution in our hacker culture.
The right person brings college experiment energy, sharp instincts, curiosity about drones/tech, and thrives on velocity - turning ideas into live global campaigns weekly.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• Global Marketing Exposure: Work on campaigns that reach enterprise customers worldwide. Represent FlytBase in events, content, and digital channels. Your voice shapes how we show up globally.
• Idea Ownership: Bring bold campaign ideas, experiment with new formats, test unconventional approaches. If it makes sense, we ship it. No long approval chains.
• Direct Execution: Take ideas from concept to live campaign within days. Work across product, sales, and engineering without silos. See results fast.
• Positioning and Messaging: Help sharpen how we communicate across industries and personas. Learn how enterprise narratives are built, refined, and scaled.
• Sales Enablement: Build battlecards, pitch decks, one-pagers, and competitive comparisons used in real enterprise conversations.
• Product Launches: Support feature launches by turning technical updates into clear, compelling stories.
• Customer Evidence: Help build case studies and testimonials that make our value tangible.
BEST SUITED FOR
• 0-1 years of experience in product marketing, marketing, communications, research, startups, or relevant projects
• Have led or actively participated in college fests, sponsorship teams, placement committees, or student-led initiatives.
• Have run experiments, not just assignments.
• Have managed a YouTube channel, Instagram page, newsletter, podcast, or community.
• Have interned in social media, product marketing, growth, or brand roles.
• Enjoy turning ideas into real-world execution.
• Use AI tools daily for writing, design, research, or automation.
• Prefer building over waiting for instructions.
You thrive here if your college journey was not linear. If you tried things, failed publicly, learned fast, and tried again.
This is not for someone looking for a passive internship. This is for someone who wants to build at a global level.
WHAT MAKES YOU A FLYTER
• Bias for initiative: You don’t wait to be told what to do. If something needs fixing, improving, or launching, you raise your hand and figure it out.
• Builder mindset: You’ve created something from scratch - an event, a club initiative, a YouTube channel, a campus community. You understand what it takes to move from idea to execution.
• End-to-end ownership: Whether it’s an Instagram page, YouTube channel, or college fest, you’ve handled everything - concept, content, coordination, promotion, and results.
• Comfort in the spotlight: You’re not afraid to host, present, interview, or represent something publicly. You can be the face when needed.
• Digital native intuition: You understand what performs online. You’ve experimented with content, trends, formats, and engagement - not just consumed them.
• Fast learner energy: You may not have years of experience, but you compensate with curiosity, speed, and the hunger to grow.
WHAT WE DON'T WANT
• Checkbox chasers: You’re not here just to tick boxes or complete tasks someone else handed you without thinking about why they matter.
• Content for content’s sake: Posting social media or writing collateral without grounding it in real user insights or goals isn’t marketing - it’s noise.
• React-only mindset: We don’t want someone who waits for instructions or only reacts to what others tell them to do. Proactivity matters.
• Creator without curiosity: Posting content without seeking feedback, measuring results, or learning what works (and why) isn’t growth.
• Silo thinkers: Marketing doesn’t work in isolation. If you’re uncomfortable collaborating with product, sales, or engineering - this won’t work.
WHY FLYTBASE?
• H3 Philosophy: We're building a company that's Happy, Healthy, AND High-Performing. Not as a balance - as a harmony. We move fast without burning out.
• Radical Ownership: You won't need permission to experiment, build, or lead. If you see a problem, you own the solution.
• Mazaa Aayega: Our internal motto. Yes, the work is intense. But it's also deeply meaningful and genuinely fun.
• Systems That Scale: We don't celebrate one-off heroics. We build compounding systems that create leverage.
• In-Person Energy: We work from our Pune office because proximity accelerates everything - ideas, feedback, trust, and impact, but travel globally for customer meetings, tradeshows, and deployments.
THE PERKS
• High agency team and sense of purpose
• International Travel - we travel to all 6 continents (sorry, no business in Antarctica yet)
• Thought leadership & public speaking opportunities at online & physical events
• No-cap budget for AI tools, courses, or experiments
• Latest tech stack and tools - whatever helps you move faster
• Unlimited leave policy & flexible working hours (no punch-in/out)
