About the role
Yantra is hiring a Manager - Projects to own end-to-end execution and delivery of turnkey projects: project mobilisation, planning, site execution, inspection, snag closure, client handover and project closure.
Key responsibilities
- Project planning and scheduling: review handover from Sales and Operations, run kick-off meetings, build execution plans, milestones and recovery plans
- Site survey and site readiness: openings, levels, sill and FFL, access, power, storage, safety
- Design and technical coordination: site measurements, approved drawings, technical clarifications
- Procurement, production and logistics coordination: material planning, long-lead items, dispatch and delivery tracking
- Manpower and resource management: work agencies, site teams, productivity, project cost control
- Site execution management: installation of aluminium windows, doors, glass and glazing, hardware, sealant and finishing, with testing and quality control
- Safety management: PPE, work-at-height, safe material handling
- Progress monitoring and reporting: daily site reports, weekly project reviews, MIS
- Inspection, snagging and rectification: snag register, reinspection, client inspection
- Client, architect, PMC and civil contractor coordination, with escalation of risks
Requirements
- 8+ years of project execution / project management experience, ideally handling multiple projects
- Turnkey contract execution experience (mandatory)
- Experience managing site teams, contractors and work agencies from mobilisation to handover and closure
- Project planning, scheduling, resource management and execution control
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field. Project Management / Construction Management qualification is an advantage
Preferred industry experience
Aluminium fenestration, windows and doors, architectural facade, building envelope, glass and glazing, skylights, curtain wall, premium building products, specialist contracting.
