WHAT WE DO
FlytBase is the global category leader in Physical AI for Large sites. FlytBase’s drone autonomy platform powers mission-critical operations across 400+ enterprise sites in 70+ countries. Our customers include Fortune 500 leaders such as Shell, CSX, UK Police, Airbus, Anglo American, Dole, and Statnett. FlytBase has its presence in 70+ countries with offices in the US and Pune, India. FlytBase is building the nervous system for large industrial sites.
We operate at AI speed - autonomy and intelligence at our core. Our lean team thrives in a high-agency, high-velocity environment where AI is not a side project; it is the operating system for how we think, build, and grow.
THE ROLE
You’ll lead FlytBase’s Creative Team while staying close to the work. You’ll set the creative bar, shape the brief, challenge the first idea, and then get your hands dirty making the thing—with designers, writers, video creators, and AI tools. This is not a review-only leadership role. We need someone with elite taste who can turn complex drone autonomy and Physical AI into clear, memorable, high-impact creative.
You’ll work across brand, product marketing, demand generation, events, sales, and executive communications. Some days you’ll be defining the visual direction for a global campaign. Other days you’ll be storyboarding a product video, rebuilding a pitch deck, directing a photoshoot, or prototyping ten concepts with AI before lunch. You’ll help the team move faster without lowering the bar—and build the systems that make great work repeatable.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• Set the creative direction and quality bar across FlytBase’s brand, campaigns, product storytelling, and customer-facing work
• Lead, coach, and develop the Creative Team through clear briefs, sharp feedback, and hands-on collaboration
• Create and direct campaign concepts across visual design, motion, video, social, web, events, and sales materials
• Translate complex drone autonomy, enterprise software, and Physical AI into work people understand and remember
• Partner with marketing, product, sales, and leadership to turn business goals into strong creative briefs and outcomes
• Build and evolve brand systems, templates, guidelines, and workflows that help the team ship consistently at speed
• Use generative AI, automation, and emerging creative tools as core parts of the creative process—not occasional experiments
• Establish a high-velocity review process that protects quality without creating approval bottlenecks
• Bring outside inspiration, new formats, and ambitious creative thinking into how FlytBase shows up globally
• Measure creative impact through audience response, campaign performance, clarity, and business results—not subjective applause alone
BEST SUITED FOR
• Creative leaders who still make, direct, edit, prototype, and present—not just delegate
• Demonstrated taste across brand, campaign, digital, motion, video, or editorial work, with a portfolio that shows range and judgment
• Experience leading a small, high-output creative team or multidisciplinary project group
• Strong ability to simplify technical, abstract, or enterprise concepts into compelling stories and visuals
• AI-native creators who use generative tools to expand ideas, accelerate production, and raise the quality bar
• Comfortable partnering with marketers, product teams, sales leaders, and executives across a global business
• Someone who can give precise feedback, defend a strong point of view, and change direction when the work demands it
WHAT MAKES YOU A FLYTER
• Radical ownership: You take a creative problem from vague ask to shipped outcome without waiting for perfect instructions.
• High standards, low ego: You care deeply about the work, invite challenge, and make the idea better instead of protecting authorship.
• Maker-leader: You lead by creating alongside the team and can jump from strategy to a Figma file, edit timeline, or AI prototype.
• Velocity with judgment: You know when to polish, when to ship, and when the first idea needs to be thrown out.
• Clear candor: You give feedback people can use and say what is not working before it becomes expensive.
• Systems thinking: You build creative processes that make a lean team faster, more consistent, and more ambitious.
WHAT WE DON'T WANT
• Managers who believe creative leadership means assigning tasks and approving final files from a distance.
• Portfolio decorators whose work looks polished but says little, solves no clear problem, or cannot explain the decisions behind it.
• People who wait for a complete brief, a large team, or the latest tool before making progress.
• Creators who treat AI as a shortcut or novelty instead of learning how it changes ideation, production, and creative operations.
• Perfectionists who turn every deliverable into a slow, subjective approval cycle.
• Specialists unwilling to work across formats, from a campaign idea and product video to a sales deck or event experience.
WHY FLYTBASE?
• Physical AI, not pretend innovation: Your work will make a new category—drone autonomy for large industrial sites—understandable and desirable.
• Global creative surface area: Shape how FlytBase shows up across 400+ enterprise sites in 70+ countries, with customers including Shell, CSX, Airbus, and Anglo American.
• Real ownership: You’ll define the creative operating model, influence the brand, and raise the bar through work—not manage from the sidelines.
• AI at the core: Build an AI-native creative practice where tools, workflows, and systems let a lean team produce outsized work at speed.
• In-person energy in Pune: Work closely with a sharp, ambitious Creative Team and cross-functional partners who value direct feedback and fast iteration.
• Mazaa Aayega: You’ll get to make work for a category that is still being defined, with room to take big swings and see your ideas deployed in the real world.
