Position Overview

The Video Editor will play a key role in shaping the visual storytelling of The Snow League—editing high-impact video content across marketing, social, and partner channels.

This person will collaborate closely with our content, creative, and marketing teams to bring stories to life across formats—from event recaps and athlete features to partner deliverables and original series. In addition to editing, the role includes maintaining and building The Snow League’s growing archive of athlete, event, and behind-the-scenes footage—ensuring we’re organized and set up for long-term storytelling success.

The ideal candidate is a versatile, detail-oriented editor with strong creative instincts and a deep understanding of freeski and snowboard culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short and long-form content for social media, brand campaigns, original series, and event coverage
• Log, organize, and manage footage for efficient post-production workflows
• Maintain and build The Snow League’s archive of athlete, event, and behind-the-scenes footage for future content use
• Support daily and event-based video deliverables on tight turnarounds
• Create graphics, apply color correction, and perform audio sweetening when needed
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand content
• Assist in data and asset management to ensure streamlined production pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional editing experience, ideally in sports or entertainment
• Advanced experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong portfolio or reel showcasing relevant editing work (required)
• Understanding of social-first and multi-platform storytelling
• Excellent organizational skills with experience managing large volumes of footage
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Deep familiarity with snowboarding and freeskiing culture
• Creative eye with technical ability across color, sound, and graphics
• Strong professional references and a reputation for reliability and attention to detail
  
  

Working Conditions

Travel: Occasional travel to competitions and shoots may be required

Physical Requirements: This position may involve lifting or moving camera/production equipment (25+ lbs)
