This role is responsible for:
Driving sales of Silkroutech’s FX and compliance solutions to businesses engaged in export-import and foreign exchange transactions.
Identifying and qualifying prospects.
Building and managing a sales pipeline.
Conducting client meetings and presentations.
Preparing proposals tailored to EXIM, FX, and compliance needs.
Collaborating with internal execution and compliance teams to translate client requirements into practical solutions.
Ensuring timely follow-up on leads.
Maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
Tracking market trends.
Monitoring regulatory changes.
Providing feedback to leadership to refine offerings and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications:
Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and negotiation abilities.
Knowledge of EXIM business, foreign exchange products, and cross-border investment processes (ODI/FDI) and related compliance.
Experience coordinating with banks, financial institutions, and advisory partners (CA/CS, legal, compliance) for transaction execution.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory concepts clearly.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client challenges, assess risk, and propose practical, execution-focused solutions.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment, manage multiple engagements, and meet revenue targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
2–5 years of relevant experience in sales within banking, FX, trade finance, compliance services, or similar domains is preferred.
Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and standard office software for tracking sales activities and reporting.
High ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance and client confidentiality.
