Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience planning and executing marketing and publicity campaigns, preferably in publishing.
- Strong knowledge of media, public relations, and book publishing practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time‑management and multitasking abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with Publishing, Sales, and Author teams.
- Experience supporting author care and communications.
- Creative thinker with a strong interest in digital marketing and innovative campaign execution.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and evolve with organizational and industry changes.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Mind, Body, Spirit, health, and pop culture communities and audiences.
- Knowledge of the art, craft, and design market.
- Experience with enthusiast or fandom‑driven audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Cision, Edelweiss, and Box/Dropbox.
- Relationships with independent bookstores a plus.
