If you’re passionate about developing young athletes, are committed to excellence, and thrive in a fun, team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you!<br><br> </div><div> <strong><br>Responsibilities<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> <strong>Plan & Lead</strong>: Coach 2–3 practices per week and 1 game per weekend per team (5–6 hours weekly commitment per team).</li> <li> <strong>Tournaments</strong>: Coach 2–6 tournaments annually based on age and skill level.</li> <li> <strong>Team Communication</strong>: Maintain regular communication with parents and players.</li> <li> <strong>Development</strong>: Attend 4 annual coaching workshops and use Trace film breakdown for 9v9 and 11v11 teams.</li> <li> <strong>Uphold PPA Principles</strong>: Embrace our coaching values—be prepared, be a teacher, and foster positive development on and off the field.<br><br> </li> </ul><div> <strong><br>Requirements<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> <strong>Experience</strong>: 3+ years of soccer coaching experience, with a proven ability to teach technical and tactical principles effectively.</li> <li> <strong>Licensing</strong>: A minimum US Soccer <strong>D License</strong> (PPA covers 50% of further license costs).</li> <li> <strong>Location</strong>: Candidates must be local to the Washington, DC/Bethesda, MD area or planning to relocate.</li> <li> <strong>Skills</strong>: Strong communication, enthusiasm, and the ability to balance player development with competitive success.</li> <li> <strong>Application Requirement</strong>: Submission of <strong>coaching film</strong> is mandatory.<br><br> </li> </ul><div> <strong><br>What We Offer<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> <strong>Competitive Pay</strong>: $5,000–$13,000 based on experience, team assignment, and tenure.</li> <li> <strong>Flexibility</strong>: Scheduling to accommodate other jobs or commitments.</li> <li> <strong>Professional Growth</strong>: Access to development workshops and licensing support.</li> <li> <strong>Gear</strong>: Free Under Armour PPA coaching gear.</li> <li> <strong>Inclusive Environment</strong>: A commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in youth sports.<br><br> </li> </ul><div> <strong><br>Join the PPA Team Today!<br></strong>Help shape the next generation of athletes while building your career in a supportive and exciting environment.</div> </div>
