Responsibilities

Work hands-on in the dining room, supporting, coaching and working with associates

Greeting, seating , serving and being present on the floor for our guests to insure proper hospitality.

Supervise and direct Dining Room employees

Assist in developing floor charts, schedules, daily assignments and floor management.

Control staffing and labor costs

Help assure proper staffing, shift to shift, utilize schedules and calling staff when needed.

Review labor cost control efforts daily with F&B Director

Learn hiring tools and interviewing techniques.

Follow and maintain training programs and standards for dining room.

Maintain the dining room cleanliness, organization and maintenance to company standard

Attend some of the requested manager meetings.
- Ensure all employees are in the full uniform including name badges and are conducting themselves in a professional manner
- Assist F&B Director with employees performance evaluations in a timely manner using the company provided materials
- Assist F&B Director ensuring daily, informative shift meetings are held.
- Responsible for overall guest satisfaction and necessary follow-ups to include monitoring of guest satisfaction surveys, emails, phone calls
- Assist F&B Director perform administrative responsibilities to include, but not limited to inventory control, personnel procedures, approving weekly time sheets /purchase orders, and invoices. Make deposits daily at bank.
- Conduct monthly inventory for liquor.
- Help oversee timekeeping and labor cost.
- Assist in leading restaurant hiring and interviewing.
- Assist restaurant training to include POS system, cash handling and front of house training.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required

2-3 years of full-service restaurant experience as host, bartender or server.

Minimum 1-year experience supervising staff
- Proficient computer skills with basic knowledge in spreadsheets and word processing
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Possess working knowledge of POS systems

Requires the ability to walk and stand during long lengths of time.
- Requires working day, evening and weekends/holidays.

Requires ability to lift 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
