<strong>Toddler Lead Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom)</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> The Learning Experience – Ledgewood, NJ<br><strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-Time, Monday–Friday<br><strong>Pay:</strong> $18 per hour<br><br>
</div><div>The Learning Experience – Ledgewood is seeking an experienced <strong>Toddler Lead Teacher</strong> to lead our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an early childhood educator who enjoys creating a structured, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports toddlers as they grow in independence, communication, and social skills.<br><br>
</div><div>Our center uses a consistent, play-based approach that helps children feel secure while exploring and learning through daily routines and hands-on experiences.<br><br>
</div><div>
<strong>Key Responsibilities:<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Lead a 2-year-old classroom in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate setting<br><br>
</li>
<li>Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum through engaging, age-appropriate activities<br><br>
</li>
<li>Support daily routines including potty training, meals, rest time, and transitions<br><br>
</li>
<li>Mentor and guide assistant teachers to maintain classroom consistency and quality<br><br>
</li>
<li>Observe, document, and support children’s developmental progress<br><br>
</li>
<li>Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication<br><br>
</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with NJ DCF licensing requirements and center policies<br><br>
</li>

<strong>Qualifications:<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>CDA credential preferred<br><br>
</li>
<li>Minimum 6 months classroom experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children (1+ year preferred)<br><br>
</li>
<li>Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices<br><br>
</li>
<li>CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain<br><br>
</li>
<li>Ability to meet all New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements<br><br>
</li>
