About the role
The Research Institute at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is seeking an outstanding imaging scientist who is committed to advancing child health through the development and application of advanced imaging and intervention methods in mouse models of disease. The successful candidate will join a team of investigators at the Mouse Imaging Centre (MICe) www.mouseimaging.ca, a state-of-the-art facility equipped with cutting-edge and high-throughput 11.7T and 7T MRI systems, ultrasound imaging, X-ray tomography, and 3D optical imaging modalities. For over 20 years, MICe has been adapting diagnostic imaging technology for high-throughput study of human disease, making it one of the best known and most prolific centres worldwide working on mouse imaging. The position is permanent full-time and will include an accompanying appointment in a relevant department at The University of Toronto (UofT), including but not limited to Medical Biophysics, Physiology, or Biomedical Imaging.
