POSITION SUMMARY (“What are we looking for?”)


The Honest Kitchen is seeking an eCommerce manager who is both strategic and a hands-on tactical expert with attention-to-detail. You will drive above-industry growth with online retailer partners like Amazon and Chewy through collaborative planning and expert execution of our premium nutrition strategy. You will own day-to-day customer & platform management and will work closely with cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver revenue targets. We’re looking for a seasoned eCommerce manager who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and consistently delivers measurable growth and operational excellence. The eCommerce Manager reports directly to the Sr. Director of eCommerce. 

SCOPE OF POSITION

  • Strategic Channel Management: Support director in strategic plan development and execution for Amazon and Chewy. Own, develop, and execute strategic plans for other assigned eCommerce accounts, aligning with overall business goals. 
  • Account Management: Prepare business updates and customer meeting decks. Lead forecasting and act decisively on performance gaps, execution issues, and emerging opportunities. Help plan promotions and lead execution and evaluation. Own new item set-up and discontinuation process. Monitor media performance, evaluate effectiveness, and provide data-informed recommendations that ladder up to account goals.
  • Data Analysis & Optimization: Own the full reporting and analytics cadence for assigned accounts (weekly, monthly, quarterly). Analyze large, multi-source datasets spanning sales, traffic, conversion, pricing, promotions, in-stock, and advertising. Diagnose performance drivers and translate data into concise, actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams and leadership. Develop clear executive-ready narratives that connect analytics to business outcomes, not just metrics.
  • Performance Management: Own the monitoring and enforcement of MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policy, ensuring adherence and addressing violations to protect brand integrity and profitability.
  • Digital Shelf Management: Lead the digital shelf experience for Pureplay accounts including PDP content, brand shops, imagery hierarchy, variation strategy, copy, A+ content, ingredient lists, allergen statements, etc. Conduct regular audits to ensure content is accurate.
  • Search and Generative Engine Optimization (SEO/GEO): Work with agencies to conduct keyword research and implement SEO/GEO best practices to enhance product visibility and organic traffic including backend keywords.
  • PIM & Product Information: Oversee product information management for eCommerce fields within Salsify, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across the channel. Lead new product setup and updates in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Coordinate with Finance, Logistics, and Marketing departments to resolve complex issues related to Amazon and other e-commerce partners efficiently.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (“What are we looking for?”)

 

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Amazon’s Vendor Central and Amazon Advertising required. Stackline, Chewy VPP, SupplierOne, RetailLink experience strongly preferred.
  • eCommerce Selling: Proven experience operating core account levers- pricing, promotions, assortment, in-stock, content and advertising.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related industry required.
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, Amazon Vendor Central experience required, Walmart and Chewy experience preferred.


The salary range for this role is: $100,000 – $120,000/year.
