As the Catering Manager, you will lead a team of kitchen and wait staff. Your responsibilities will include creating employee schedules, planning menus, and managing food prep and serving during events. A successful Catering Manager must provide excellent customer service and have strong organizational abilities. Ultimately, your goal is to ensure successful events and happy customers in order to grow our business. </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></div><ul> <li>Interview customers to determine event details</li> <li>Plan event menus while keeping the client’s requirements in mind</li> <li>Determine ingredients and amounts and create shopping lists</li> <li>Schedule employees</li> <li>Hire, train, and manage kitchen and wait staff</li> <li>Oversee the preparation of meals to be served</li> <li>Maintain a high level of customer service</li> </ul><div> <strong>Qualifications</strong>: </div><ul> <li>Previous experience as a manager in hospitality or food service</li> <li>Knowledge of food safety regulation</li> <li>Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong customer service skills</li> <li>Experience creating menus for large groups</li> <li>Ability to work weekend and holiday shifts, as necessary</li> <li>Education in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred but not required</li> </ul> </div>
