We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support a major public construction program within the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD). This is a high-impact, field-based role where you’ll oversee safety compliance across multiple active construction sites.
*Salary Range: $120K/Year-$130K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications
Hybrid Schedule: One (1) work-from-home (WFH) day per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction safety compliance across multiple job sites
- Conduct daily safety inspections and prepare detailed reports
- Monitor contractor adherence to OSHA regulations and safety plans
- Review key safety documentation (JHA, fall protection, lift plans, etc.)
- Lead safety discussions during construction meetings and toolbox talks
- Track and report safety incidents, observations, and corrective actions
- Support program leadership with safety reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with OCIP requirements and zero-tolerance policies
- Work across multiple campuses/projects in a fast-paced environment
