About the role

The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department (The Department) wishes to recruit an Accountant in judicial execution affairs at Support Services Directorate for undertaking accounting procedures relevant to judgments and writs of execution in a manner that ensures compliance with laws and financial regulations applicable in the Government of Dubai. Key duties and responsibilities: · To review regulations concerning execution financially pursuant to courts judgments and other writs of execution. · To recalculate and review amounts associated with execution. · To follow up paid and outstanding amounts, bank transfers in files of execution and prepare electronic files that include amounts associated with the execution. · To review submitted requests and plans for payment in installments, suggest alternative plans and follow up payment procedures. · To prepare the financial section of internal statistics associated with execution. · To check that the executed amounts are calculated correctly in case the respondent submitted a request to refund excess money. · To prepare and submit periodic financial reports associated with execution. Academic qualifications, years of experience: · 3-5 years of experience. · Bachelor degree in accounting. Required skills (Technical and conduct skills: · To be capable to analyse judgments from accounting perspective. · The ability to work as one team and to effectively communicate with Heads of sections and colleagues at the Department. · The ability to deal with workload. · The ability for time management, planning and organisation. · The ability for innovation and future foreseeing. · Computer literacy. · Fluency in Arabic and English (reading, writing and speaking).
