<strong><br>Role Overview<br></strong><br>
</div><div>
<br>The Assistant Director of Operations partners with the School Director to oversee daily operations including staffing, enrollment, compliance, and family experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that supports a safe, organized, and positive school environment.<br><br>

<strong><br>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>

<li>Support daily operations and act as leader when needed</li>
<li>Coach and support faculty to ensure strong classroom experiences</li>
<li>Maintain staffing levels within budget</li>
<li>Ensure licensing, QA, and safety compliance<br><br>
</li>

<strong>Family & Enrollment<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Build strong relationships with families</li>
<li>Conduct tours and support enrollment and retention</li>
<li>Communicate clearly and consistently with families</li>
<li>Represent the school in the community<br><br>
</li>

<strong>Compliance & Environment<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Maintain safe, clean, organized school environment</li>
<li>Manage licensing documentation, ratios, and health records</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with regulations and updates</li>
<li>Support required trainings and audits</li>
</ul><div>
<strong><br>Team Support<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Assist with onboarding and training faculty</li>
<li>Provide feedback, coaching, and development support</li>
<li>Support a positive, collaborative school culture<br><br>

</ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><div>
<br>Candidates must meet one of the following per Ohio Department of Job and Family Services:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or related field (preferred)</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in related field with early childhood coursework (18 semester hours)</li>
<li>Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with leadership experience</li>
<li>Associate degree in related field with progressive childcare experience<br><br>
</li>
</ul><div>Additional requirements:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>1+ year leadership or management experience (childcare preferred)</li>
<li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to support classrooms when needed</li>
<li>Knowledge of childcare licensing standards</li>
<li>Compliance with Ohio Administrative Code 5101:2-12-07</li>
<li>Completion of required trainings<br><br>
