Solicit and enter FSV customer orders.
Conduct research on specific FSV accounts and market trends.
Create and implement strategic sales plans to meet the needs of specific customers.
Proactively consult with the acting Account Manager to advise the customer on products, pricing, available quantities, shipping terms, and special customer requirements.
Communicate short shipments, quality issues, price discrepancies, credits, and program changes to active customers and follow up on inbound questions, such as product complaints and inquiries.
Assist in the development and distribution of weekly price lists.
Maintain account profiles, pricing and product lists through our online ordering platform.
Run reports and maintain real-time sales data to effectively control inventory and sales order volumes.
Report on assigned sales and communicate important program updates to Account Manager
Process new item setup requests cooperatively with other departments.
At least one year of experience of customer service in a business-to-business environment.
Preferred knowledge of the meat and seafood industry, including product specifications, shrink/yield, and production processes.
Strong computer skills required, including high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to make outbound sales-related calls and process inbound calls.
Self-motivated and determined to drive sales results.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
The ability to demonstrate strong customer service aptitude is a must.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to multitask with varying priorities.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Ability to travel and meet with customers as needed.
